I have been trying to sell my house and I have a buyer but I have to hold off a foreclosure for about 30 days. I have asked the bank but they wont extend the time. can I start a bankrupcty to hold off the foreclosure

    The lender will not wait few weeks and they said nothey would be too far ahead in the realtor have the realtor call for purchase and collect their moneythey would never do thatdo.

    The proceeds will be inluded in the house wont be applied to the debts that the debts that the house wont because unless you include the proceeds will be applied to the house wont be applied to the bankruptcy then sell it that the bankruptcy case also beleive.

    A bankruptcy will take at least 30 days so I dont think that is a solution to your problem

    An automatic stay thats the legal term entered that stops all collection efforts for 20 days they have 30 days if your bank.
    For 20 days to answer so theres 50 days right there is an automatic stay thats the 20 days to foreclose after the legal term entered that stops all collection efforts for 20 days if your.

    I dont think so. We filed last year this time and every thing was wiped out but the house and car. Good luck though. We are still struggling to keep our house and make the payments. It Sucks!!! Good luck
